Training Practice

The practice undertakes the training of qualified doctors, called GP Registrars, who intend to enter general practice. After their hospital training doctors are now required to spend a twelve month period of further training within a recognised training practice. The doctors are fully qualified and able to work unsupervised; the practice greatly benefits from their time spent with us.

On occasions the practice may have medical students attached who are undergoing a general practice placement as part of their curriculum. You will always be informed of the presence of a student in with your doctor. If you find this unacceptable, please say so.
